Sure can! Food, soft drinks and water but there is NO BYO Alcohol. Security will be doing bag searches at the gate and all glass (bottles, containers etc) is prohibited. Don’t forget there will be fantastic food from local restaurants at really affordable prices and cheeses and other produce as well.
Facilities are a cut above the average outdoor event with toilet trucks with proper facilities provided.
It’s outdoors so a hat and sunscreen are a must, sunshade and something to sit on would be good as well. A camera to record all of the antics is great. Plenty of cash and a fun mindset is about the lot!
As this is an outdoor picnic style event, no marquees or large tents are allowed but feel free to bring a blanket, a sunshade, umbrella, or deck chair (deck chairs will also be available for hire).
Just to clarify, free standing modern sunshades are OK as they are generally pegged at the base of the legs and the sides are open. Our main issue is guy ropes and pegs as they can become a trip hazard and sides on marquees limit the view for everyone else.
Please note there are no pets allowed at Jazz in the Vines.
Our bar will have cash out facilities as do some of the wineries on site.
Children under 12 years have free entry to Jazz in the Vines (with accompanied adult) but its more of an adult event and there are no specific activities for them or child minding facilities at the event. There are childminding services available throughout Hunter Wine Country Contact Wine Country Tourism for details and bookings. If you do bring the children ensure you keep track of them make sure they have your mobile phone number on them and that they know what to do if they get separated from you. Please note: Our VIP and Alfresco Jazz Clubs are not suitable for children under 18 years of age.
If it rains, the show will go on. The show will only be abandoned if conditions are deemed dangerous.
Nothing! Free parking is available onsite.
Tickets are non-refundable so once you buy a ticket the only way you can get a refund is if the promoter has to cancel the entire event.
YES! Pass outs are available on the day
