Where is the Venue?
Jazz in the Vines is held next door to Tyrrell's Vineyard, 1882 Broke Rd Pokolbin in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country. It's a big paddock with plenty of room to spread out, set against the magnificent Brokenback Mountain Range.
If you are thinking of driving, there will be plenty of FREE parking available on site. But think green and check out the transport options on our Transport page!
Coming from Sydney? Take the Harbour Bridge or Harbour Tunnel north following the signs to “North Coast & Newcastle”. At Wahroonga (Approx 30 minutes from Sydney), turn right onto the F1 Freeway heading for “Newcastle”.
Follow the Freeway for approximately one hour, and then take the “Cessnock” exit (Road 82). Follow signs to Cessnock, and then onto “Branxton”. On the way to Branxton, turn left into Broke Road, just after Cessnock Airport (Approx 10 minutes from Cessnock). Follow Broke Road to the end, turn left then immediately right at Hunter Valley Gardens. Follow Broke Road past Tyrrell’s Vineyard, and turn left into the Jazz in the Vines site.
Can we BYO Food?
Yes you can BYO food, soft drinks and water but there is NO BYO Alcohol. Security will be doing bag searches at the gate and all glass (bottles, containers etc) is prohibited.
